Have to Give

I can see where some people have got it all backwards with thinking they want to have to have more when, in actuality, we should want to have so we can give. Wallace D. Wattles taught that in his 1910 book, "Science of Getting Rich", but there has been a resource for this from way back 1,000's of years ago. Keep reading to find this answer.

I was listening to a seminar yesterday, and this statement stood out for me. I don't know if you have had this feeling that something isn't quite right about wanting a lot of riches without giving anything back, but this is something I think we can all learn. I know, for me, I hadn't really thought of it this way before.

I knew something was bugging me, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. This settled that nagging question for me. What is the reason for having all those riches?

Obviously, the reason is not just to be rich or to have riches but to give to others for whatever reason we feel is set upon our hearts. I know I have not had this thinking before, and it explains a lot of things, such as, why I wasn't getting any farther than I had-why I wasn't receiving as I have been told I can.

Not necessarily did I want riches so much as I wanted things. I didn't understand the true purpose for wanting money. I was thinking-well, it would be great to not have to worry about bills anymore or it would be nice to take a vacation without having to concern ourselves about whether we will have any money when we come home. It sure would be great if I could buy some new clothes, a newer computer, a new all in one printer, etc. But now I realize this isn't what it's all about.

Sure, it's nice to have all these things, but it isn't what fulfills us. What fulfills us is to give and give of our abundance-never from our necessity. If we have needs, then those have to come first. Eventually, by giving of ourselves, in whatever way is our in our ability, we will see success. (Volunteer at a local shelter or write letters to our service troops.) In this way, we are giving. Or do as Oprah recommended, give of the extra you have to those who need them. You have a closet full of clothes you'll never wear? Give them to a center where they give them to women searching for jobs. Your children have too many toys? Give them to children who don't have any. Anything you have excess of, give to someone who can use them. You will start seeing a change in your thinking about stuff, and you'll start seeing successes in your financial life. Then you can start giving of your abundance.

Because, when we follow these principles, that is when we will open our hearts of gratitude and the abundance will come flowing in. Have to Give.

As Wally Wattles said, it is a principle, and it is found in the Word of God, which is my premise for everything I do.

ACLU is at it Again

I was reading "The Internet Newsletter" from Christian Family Fellowship when I learned that two men are being charged with "breaking the law" for praying during a Field House Luncheon. A link was provided to take me to Liberty Counsel where I read this headline:

"Principal and Athletic Director Face Criminal Charges for Prayer at Luncheon"

It seems two men,
Pace High School Principal Frank Lay and Athletic Director Robert Freeman, are facing criminal charges for praying before a meal at a Field House Luncheon. This wasn't even during school hours!

Liberty Counsel is representing them. They are asking for donations for these men to keep their freedoms. If you want to know more, and, or donate to this cause, go to LibertyAction.org

This is what I've been saying all along. We are losing our rights, as believers and Christians, more and more, as time goes on.

Organizations, such as, ACLU, are doing everything they can to stop prayer and our freedom to worship God, Who is the one who gave it to us in the first place. When are we going to take a stand and get our freedoms back? Or are we just going to sit by and let them be stripped from us?

As I wrote, back in December, these are signals of the times where we are losing.

But why are we losing? It's because we are not taking a stand against the adversary and his henchman. We are just letting everything go right over our heads and saying, "It's no big deal." But it is a big deal, even more, it's a downright shame that our country is going the way of so many others that have decided to worship idols. Look at their economy, their diseased children and ask yourself, is this what we want for ourselves. Of course, we are well on our way.

We've been hiding our heads in the sand for much too long. Now we are losing our freedoms, suddenly it's such a huge deal, isn't it?

So, what are you going to do? What I say we should all do is to pray in public, no matter what the rules say. Take our freedoms back. After all, our founding fathers gave them to us. Are we just going to let them them be stripped from us? Are we really wanting to get to the point where we can be arrested for praying or worshipping our Heavenly Father?

I'm telling you, folks, at the rate things are going, we are well on our way unless we band together and stop our fighting. I was at youtube yesterday and followed two people's criticizing and putting each other down, both confessing to know the truth and Christians. People, this is not what we are supposed to be doing! When are you going to realize that God does not care whether someone prays a certain way or believes a certain way? All he wants is our worship! Stop trying to over ride each other! By doing so, you are just playing into the hands of the adversary, who wants to destroy God's Word. Are you going to keep on fighting each other and thinking you are always right? The truth is, neither of you are. The Word of God is our truth, and it is the only truth. How do you think unbelievers perceive us when we are always putting each other's beliefs down? Not a pretty picture, is it? We aren't children. We are full grown adults, yet we act like infants. We're responsible for how we act, not to each other, but to the only One Who matters, our Heavenly Father, and I can tell you this. He is not happy with us right now. We have gotten way off the beam, exactly what the adversary, the devil, wants.

He has always been at loggerheads with our Father, and, at the rate it's going, he is winning! Is this what you really want? Now, is it so important for you to be right or is it more important to support each other. After all, we all have our own fight to keep our freedoms. Let's concentrate on that instead of whether someone thinks he or she knows more than someone else.

You don't like the way this group prays or you don't like the way one worships. That's not our business!!! Our business is to unite and stop ourselves from being victimized just because we pray and love our Heavenly Father the way we are directed by His Word. We are to do everything we do to glorify Him, not men.

So, let's get our heads out of the sand, stop judging each other because we don't like something, and start getting involved to put a stop to this injustice. We have our rights still. It's time to keep what we have and get back those we have lost.

This way, our children and their children will still be able to enjoy their freedoms that is their God-given rights in this great country of ours, America.

Blessings Abounding to ALL,

In His Service,

Clairetta Anderson
